the Cinema Show

First – I’ve been crazy busy with work and moving to a new home so I haven’t had much time for music, but hopefully that is going to improve very soon!

I want to thank everyone for the reception of Meditations on a Taxi – it’s done far better than anything I’ve put out before. (Eagle Pose just crossed 10,000 streams!!) MoaT was a compilation of all of the soft ‘new age’ background music that I had written for various film/tv song calls that were never used.

But, as I’ve said many times (with no disrespect), I really don’t want to be (and don’t think I am) a ‘new age’ artist. I like long pause emotional meditative songs – but mostly because of their cinematic value. and that is where my heart really lies. Instrumental cinematic story telling mashing both traditional and modern music styles.

And that is what my new upcoming album “the Cinema Show” is – One part prog, one part neo-classical, sprinkle liberally with world and pop music, produce till done… Most of these songs have been on my YouTube channel as “Re-imagined Soundtracks” for some time now, but I wanted to pull them together into a full album that takes you on a bit of an adventure. Plus, you know me, I can’t move on till it’s done… 🙂 It’s sooo good. By far my best album ever and I cannot wait to share it.

My hope is to have it ready to release in Fall 2025 – details coming soon!!
