There Goes That Song Again – Musical Bingo Ep. #15

Decided to do something fun (and relatively short) this week and play a #korg #Kronosized cover tune.

In 1943, Sammy Cohn and Jule Styne had a massive hit with the song “I’ve Heard That Song Before” – which stayed in the Top 10 for 15 weeks. You couldn’t escape it.

This song was their (I’d like to think a bit tongue and cheek) follow up entitled “There Goes That Song Again…” which spent 4 weeks at #2 in 1945. Admittedly, my version is quite different…

I’ve added a bunch of 20s-50s songs into the set list for this summer – It will be interesting to see who can recognize them! 🙂
