Pecknotes Productions does not collect any personal information about you and this app only uses those items on your device that are relevant for the functionality of the app. There are no ads served.

e.g. Location Services are required to use the location based functionality. Camera Access is needed to see the Augments. Microphone and File Access may also be requested for audio functionality. At launch, you are given the ability to choose these things. If you select yes, we’ll assume you’re ok with the app working. If not, then it won’t work – sorry…



To function this app makes use of the Vuforia Engine: Depending on which features and functionality of the Vuforia Engine are utilized in the application, the following information is sent by the Software to PTC Inc. (PTC), its affiliates and/or its service providers. 

(i)    Information about the end users’ devices such as:

  •      Make, model and version of the user’s device
  • Operating system name and version number of the user’s device
  •      Camera profile version 

(ii)    Information about the Software used to create the Developer Application such as:

  • a.      Vuforia API version
  • b.      Vuforia license keys
  • c.      Cloud Recognition client key for apps that utilize Cloud Recognition 

(iii)   Information about the Developer Application and its use such as:

  • a.      Application bundle ID
  • b.      Application distribution type
  • c.      Application version
  • d.      Application store identifier
  • e.      Initial application session timestamp determined at the first time an app is launched after being installed on a device
  • f.       Vuforia feature usage events
  • g.      Start Vuforia timestamp
  • h.      Camera start time when Vuforia is running
  • i.       Recognition event type and timestamps
  • j.       Tracker detection timestamp

(iv)   The IP address used by the end user’s device for the purpose of inferring the country of use (but not the exact location). 

(v)    Images submitted with Cloud Recognition queries in order to match image for a Recognition event

(vi)   The media access control address (MAC address) of the development system used to create the Developer Application for the purpose of generating a unique identifier for that system (Used with the Model Target Generator and with Unity Version 2017.2 and above)

(vii)   Information about the use of Vuforia Developer tools:

  • a.      The number of Model Targets, trained and not trained, and number of Guide Views created with the Model Target Generator
  • b.      Basic statistical information of the CAD models used in the Model Target Generator, in particular CAD source format, number of polygons and parts ( but not the CAD data itself)
  • c.      Basic metrics on Area Targets created with the Area Target Generator, in particular the number of created targets, the area covered, the number of panoramas and number of scanning -points


Unity, the game engine that I used to create this application, implements an interface on Android to request a device’s Android Device ID and the Advertising ID. I don’t use these interfaces in my games whatsoever, and have confirmed through tests that the data that could be requested from these interfaces never leaves your device.”
